Guest Post: The Best is Yet to Come

Do you ever find a blog and get sucked in for about an hour or more? That's what happened to me when I stumbled upon today's guest post's blog. Rylie shares truth and snippets of her life in My Corner in the Universe. Today's post spoke to my heart and made me say, "Amen" over and over while reading.

The best is yet to come.
I want to live my life as though eternity was really written on my heart, as it says in Eccleiastes 3:11.
I want to live in expectancy.
I want to hold nothing back, and live with my arms wide open and my hope unbroken.
I want to love like crazy... and truly carry out the call of being His "hands and feet."
I want to soak it all in.
I want to thank The Lord in every season -- knowing that suffering produces perseverance (Romans 5:3).
I want to live. Martin Luther King, Jr said that, "if you haven't found anything you are willing to die for, you aren't fit to live."

But through all of this -- all of my wants, ambitions, and desires -- I know that the best is yet to come. I know that I know that I know.

So, I will live my life as though eternity was really written on my heart -- knowing that the best is yet to come.
I will live in expectancy -- knowing that the best is yet to come.
I will hold nothing back -- knowing that the best is yet to come.
I will love like crazy -- knowing that the best is yet to come.
I will soak it all in -- knowing that the best is yet to come.
I will thank The Lord in every season -- knowing that the best is yet to come.

"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope." - Jeremiah 29:11

"Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven!" - Matthew 5:12

“He that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.” – Matthew 24:13

"But, as it is written, 'What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him.'" - 1 Corinthians 2:9

Thank you so much for sharing this with us today Rylie. The best IS yet to come! No matter how inconceivable, may we all live that out today - for His glory!
